Wintertime in New York City is something truly special. It may reach freezing cold temperatures but the beautiful city views make everything worthwhile. The Brooklyn Bridge is one of my favorite spots in the city. I often go there when I just need some solo time to think. The energy of the city can be felt throughout your bones. There's no escaping this city. 

With 2017 coming to an end, a stop at the Brooklyn Bridge to reflect on the year and everything that's ahead was a must. I made sure to have several cozy layers on, then stopped by Starbucks to get a cup of my favorite skinny vanilla latte before proceeding. If you have a chance watch the sunset on the bridge. It'll change your perspective on what beauty is, I promise you.
