White mohair-blend cozy sweater, fur pom beanie, high-waisted mom jeans, black and gold Hermes belt, Chanel boy bag, and my winter white heels. Unlike my usual all black outfits I decided to put something more refreshing and bright together. So an outfit like this came to mind when I thought of a cold winter day in New York City (plus an extra thick puffer jacket not pictured because it didn’t match the look…). This sweater is seriously my favorite right now, it’s so incredibly warm. You feel like you’re wrapped up in a warm blanket without the extra oversized look making it perfect to wear under a tighter coat or leather jacket.
This is the last week of 2016 and I’m really excited for what 2017 has in store. I think 2016 was a difficult year for most so I’m anxiously waiting for the new year, a fresh start, a new chapter.
I have a post coming up later this week on everything 2016 has thought me, taking some time to reflect, learn, and grow on everything that happened this year. This was a big year for me because where I am right now while writing this post is a place I would’ve never imagined being this time last year. For me 2016 was all about taking risks, finding out who I am, and just living life.
For now I’m enjoying the last few days left of the year. Relaxing in my new NYC apartment, appreciating my first winter in New York (as much as I can… in need of a warm vacay soon), and looking froward to my first new year here as well. Have you guys found that perfect dress to welcome 2017 in yet?! I’m going to go roam around 5th Ave a bit later today hoping to find something after answering some emails and finishing up some projects. I have absolutely no idea what to wear I just know it has to be glam and unforgettable, New York style.
