All of the Outfits I Wore to NYFW SS18

Another February means another fashion month. For me New York Fashion Week is a week full of high energy, extra caffeine, and no sleep. It’s also a time to personally see the latest trends and collections from some of the top designers in the world. Even though I love runway shows, the street styles are something to not be missed. When picking my own outfits I really try to push myself out of my comfort zone and try new things. But it’s also a moment I gain inspiration from others. The change in the fashion industry has been very evident…

Must Have Piece: A Classic Structured Blazer

A classic structured blazer is a staple piece that we should all have in our closets. It’s versatile, transitional, and timeless. This River Island blazer gives me total vintage Parisienne vibes and I love it. I paired it with ribbed crop top, white embellished skirt, and black mules. I wore this look to an event during NYFW SS18 and I got numerous compliments on it… especially about the blazer! So it’s safe to say a classic structure blazer like this is a must for every woman’s wardrobe. Shop the full outfit here: *Sponsored by River Island. All words, styling, and creative direction…

Red has always been the color of love. And Valentine’s Day has always been a celebration of love and happiness. So when I get dressed for Valentine’s Day I’m always incorporating red into my look. When shopping for an outfit I stumbled upon this black leather skirt that totally caught my eye! I knew it had to be the focal point of my outfit. I paired it with this red polka dot blouse and these amazing red booties. This look is perfect for anything you have planned on Valentine’s Day. Three Outfits I Wore This Week

Oh chilly New York, you make it almost impossible to look cute while staying warm. But with every winter that passes I get more used to dressing for this weather and have acquired some tips on how to stay stylish during the winter. Here are three outfits I wore this week and how to layer appropriately with each one… Outfit One: Sometimes I love a New York City, over-the-top kinda outfit. Sometimes I love a classic and simple look. It mainly depends on my mood but here I decided to opt for a more tailored, West Coast girl type of…

You Can’t Make Everyone Happy, You’re Not Pizza.

“I like you more than pizza and I really like pizza”  A fun and casual day spent in Dumbo, Brooklyn. Plenty of New York style pizza was involved and not an ounce of me was complaining. Dumbo has some of the best views of the city so whenever I get the chance to make my way over there I definitely go. Views like that come with your typical NYC crowds however so I often like to hangout in spots that aren’t around the main tourist areas. It’s just more peaceful and you can really take everything in and enjoy what…

2018: A Better Me Is Coming

With each day, month, and year that passes I am changing and growing. Sometimes it’s hard, really hard, and sometimes it’s not. I have days where I feel 100 emotions all at once and others where I feel nothing at all. However, with strength I can say that everything I’ve experienced thus far has turned me into the woman I am today. A lot has changed in 2017 and all I know is that in 2018 a better me is coming. But for now, here’s to all of the amazing moments of 2017… I experienced many firsts in New York…

Tweed Skirt & Cozy Turtleneck Sweater

This is the first tweed skirt I’ve ever owned. Shocking, I know. I somehow missed the trend every time it appeared on British runways or magazines labeled it as the street style “must-have” because Bella Hadid was once seen wearing it out in London. The tweed skirt is a classic fashion piece that reminds me of a woman that has it all together. Sorta like my grandma. When she walked into a room wearing her vintage Chanel tweed skirt it was all over. She was that girl. And right now, I kinda want to be that girl. This skirt has probably become one of my…
